The department of Information Technology provides four-year (eight Semesters) engineering course leading to bachelors in Information technology Lingaya's University, Faridabad (Haryana, India) and approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE, New Delhi, India). The course is highly Lab oriented and contains the majors like Network Programming, Computer Graphics, Multimedia and Animation Technology, Rapid Application Development, Microprocessors and Interfaces, Web Technologies & Development, Software Engineering, Security of Information Systems, Wireless Communications, Data Warehousing and Data Mining The Department also runs specializations on Laser Technology, Web Engineering, Network Security and Robotics (Expert Systems) through electives and value added courses The Students undergo two Industry based summer trainings and submit a report. This report is evaluated by a team of industrial representatives and faculty. The department is equipped with a departmental library for quick reference. The department houses a small computer centre for departmental faculty and senior students. The students use the computing facilities available with central computer centre for their labs and the central library for the reference purpose.
