Difference between Affliliation,Accreditation and Approval? For an Engineering college to operate it is mandatory for it to get the approval from AICTE and get Affiliated with a University, whereas Accreditation is a proof of quality education in an Engineering college by AICTE-NBA. IS UNIVERSITY Accrediated? Accreditation is done by AICTE-NBA, branch/course wise after three or more batches have been passed out of the course/branch. At UNIVERSITY four of the branches viz CSE,Mech,Elec and ECE are Accrediated by AICTE-NBA, IT is in the process of accreditation and rest three branches EEE, Automobile and civil are new. What is the difference between EEE and ECE? ECE is the branch which deals with fields related to Electronics and communication as well as IT, where as EEE deals with Power Electronics. What is the most suitable branch for me ? Answer to this question depends on the answer of the question, "what are your future plans?" If you are interested in any software related placement, then the choice of branch is more or less irrelavent, because most of the s/w companies while selecting freshers through campus go for a basic aptitute test, English test, c/c++/java test followed by other placement related drills like GD and a chain of interviews. If your plans are related to MBA than again your choice of branch is really irrelavent, because getting in to MBA is immaterial of type / branch of graduation.
